EDUCATION
Starting a business often means entering the unknown. Extension educators offer trainings and workshops tailored to your needs, covering topics from financial planning to regulatory requirements to industry-specific practices. This education is designed to build knowledge and confidence, helping you make informed decisions as you grow your business.
COUNSELING AND NETWORKING
Entrepreneurs don’t have to be alone. The Small Business Program offers individualized assistance and mentoring to support business planning, marketing strategies, financing options and legal compliance. In addition, you gain access to valuable networks that connect you with other business owners, community leaders, and industry professionals.
WORKSHOPS
Community-based workshops create space for you to step back and evaluate your business approach. In these workshops, you explore how you make decisions and how to identify and reach your target audience. These sessions offer practical tools and shared insights that strengthen both individual businesses and local economies.
SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE
The annual Small Business Conference brings together entrepreneurs, business professionals, and resource providers for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection. Attendees engage in presentations, trainings, and discussions focused on business development while building relationships with experts, suppliers, and vendors.
