I went to high school in Wakefield. After high school, I served a two-year mission in South America for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I spent 12 years in K-12 education as a CTE Business Teacher, High School Principal and Superintendent. I worked five years on the Community Vitality Team as an educator for the university, followed by a five-year stint as Engagement Zone Coordinator in southwest Nebraska.
